Highlights to Prepare for EDGAR Next
The SEC has closed the EDGAR Next beta program, testing the SEC proposed release to improve EDGAR filer access & account management with technical changes to EDGAR.
- Instructions/test cases provided to help facilitate testing
- Filer must set up an account with login.gov
- Permissioning for use of CIK for filing is now required
- Annual confirmations required
- All filers are required to assign Account Administrators
- API toolkits available for development/IT teams
- The EDGAR Next Beta website closed on March 15, 2024. The final rule is expected later this year.
